Wine
During the tour you visit Verona’s most innovative and extravagant wine cellar where winemakers use their magic to produce wines popular the world round. Here you try the red wine that made the province of Veneto-Amarone della Valpolicella so famous and learn about the traditional methods of wine making that have been strictly adhered to since ancient times.
The winery blends tradition and innovation. Local expert will explain and show you the whole process of wine making during a visit to the newest building to be added to the winery, which is a perfect example of modern architecture. But you also visit the ancient cellar dated 1400AD carved out of the sandstone wall. This is where, year after year, the wines mature, before finally being bottled.
Extended wine tasting gives you an opportunity to try some of the best versions of Amarone along with other Valpolicella wines, in the process gaining knowledge of method involved, the roots of this method channel deep into the old traditions of winemaking in this region. By tasting Amarone you will be able to experience the wonderful components giving the wine its fragrance and flavor.
